It’s my first scope, so it’s baby steps when the sky allows
The QHY MiniCAM8M with the IMX585 sensor and a full set of LRGB and HOS filters is the perfect way to get into mono imaging. It got me into it ;-)
The resolution of a mono camera is fantastic and works perfectly with my Askar 103 APO refractor.

I bought this book on a whim when I popped into the store (to buy an eye piece), not expecting too much ... instead I was pleasantly surprised, it is a great book, very interesting, and really well written so that novices like me can understand it too! I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and keep using it as a reference guide for my stargazing nights. Highly recommended!

I've used this on my 8" ASTRONZ Cassegrain and it gives a fairly sharp image across most of the field of view. Being a long focal length telescope at 2436mm I wanted an eyepiece that gives me that little extra field of view when compared to my other 30mm eyepiece.
We were looking to buying a telescope for a while and finally made a decision to get one through Astronz. Contacted Andrew on a Wednesday and wanted to check whether we could get it deliver to Christchurch and luckily Andrew was driving down to CHCH for the weekend and by Friday we had the telescope personally delivered at no cost. Many more discovery to see through it. Red colour on the moon was lovely to see with.
I had used a non-laser collimator earlier and compared to that this laser unit was far easier to use and took only a couple of minutes.
