"OUTSTANDING IN THE CROWD"

Sky and Space, the Australian Astronomy Mag have produced a wonderful comprehensive article on six brands of budget priced wide-field eyepieces and our ASTRONZ 'GSO' Super Views came out on top. The article is seven pages long and includes a wealth of information on the use of eyepieces, and problems you may face. We are hoping to obtain permission to add a PDF of the full article on our site. See below an insert from that summary.

“For their relative costs, the quality of design, fabrication and optics, some eyepieces clearly impressed me more than others did. However, this is an entirely personal choice..."

"...the eyepieces from the Guan Sheng Optics (GSO) factory in Taiwan really impressed me. They all demonstrated impressive qualities of design, fabrication and optics. The outstanding value for money must be the GSO Super View eyepieces, superbly manufactured and a joy to hold in your hand and look through. Any limitations in the excellent modified Erfle five element fully multicoated, edge-blackened optics are more likely to be from the cost saving design than from the manufacturing standards. I thought the 20mm GSO SV eyepiece was so good, I bought it too!”
