| Dave Moorhouse, builder of the fabulous 16" binoculars says
"From what I've seen 10" with dobs is the point were you really start to resolve globular clusters, the brighter galaxies are more than very faint smudges and bright nebulas start to really shine. If you can fit it in your boot it's fine; if it takes up the back seat as well that cuts down the number of passengers.
The best telescope is the one you use the most. This is 100% true - I have an issue with my big binoculars as I can't lift the individual parts in and out of the car or assemble it myself, so I need a fellow observer whenever I go out. I never set up at home as it's a 40 minute setup.
A 10" ASTRONZ is a pick up two lightish parts by yourself put them on the ground grab and eyepiece and start observing, this is the size scope that will get used often. The 10" ASTRONZ I saw had great images....."
(Dave's comments were in regard to a relative newcomer to observing, proposing to buy a 10" ASTRONZ Dobsonion telescope)
